Job Description:
As a Data Analyst at the Enterprise Risk Platform and Data Lab, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality and trustworthy resource reporting and analysis on a regular basis to our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define and track progress on our Strategic Workforce Plan.
- Improve resource predictions, work with GCOO teams to identify variances, and share best practices.
- Create resource models that support the new Platform model and track progress during adoption.
- Embrace a continual improvement approach, looking for ways to automate and optimize our procedures.
- Collect data from several platforms and analyze it to deliver insights to our customers.
- Collaborate with partners and customers to ensure their needs are addressed and insights are successfully communicated.
Skills Required:
- Competent in data analysis, problem solving, and data modelling.
- Previous expertise with Business Objects reporting packages, computer languages like JavaScript, XML, or ETL frameworks, and databases.
- Proficient with programming languages such as SQL, Oracle, and MATLAB.
- Experience in database design, data models, data mining techniques, and segmentation.
- Exposure to data visualisation tools such as Tableau and QlikView.
- Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication abilities.
- Experience with reporting technologies such as Python, Microsoft Excel, RapidMiner, KNIME, Power BI, Apache Spark, Talend, or Splunk.
Required Qualification:
- Has a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar.
