Job Responsibilities:
- Solve customer issues on Google Cloud Platform by diagnosing problems and implementing new tools.
- Understand Google’s products deeply, troubleshoot challenges, and create tools for faster issue resolution.
- Advise internal teams on technical obstacles and enhance Google Cloud services.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve products and work with Site Reliability Engineering for high-quality production.
- Part of a global team providing 24-hour customer support.
Skills Required:
- Familiarity with cloud-based Serverless and developer tools.
- Experience with Google App Engine, Cloud Function, Cloud Run, or open-source software.
- Background in Web or Mobile App Development.
- Knowledge of core concepts like MVCC, CI/CD Pipelines, HTTP Protocol, Web frameworks, and common Web Technologies.
- System/Network Administrator level knowledge of Linux/Unix or other operating systems, covering Kernel to Shell, file systems, and client-server protocols.
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent.
- Proficient in reading or debugging code in languages like Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Perl, or JavaScript.
- Demonstrated experience in advocating for customer needs.
