Job Description:
You will be working on Discovery experiences such as the Home, Details, and Search pages in this role. Serving more than 150 million customers worldwide, CEX is in charge of the complete client experience, from signup to personalised content watching. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide infrastructure and test frameworks that are highly scalable to handle thousands of tests every day.
- For hands-free releases, make sure the automated outcomes are dependable.
- Offer creative answers to challenging test automation problems.
- Work together with the development, product, and UX teams to provide excellent experiences on all platforms.
- Work together with stakeholders to match the broader business goals with the quality team.
- Take the lead in developing test systems and roadmaps for quality engineering.
- Participate in the CEX Org QE team’s effort to find material for millions of people.
Skills Required:
- Proficient in automating front-end client applications for a variety of devices, including mobile phones, televisions, and set-top boxes.
- A thorough understanding of REST APIs, including request-response structures and error/status codes.
- Knowledge of SQL and database scripting.
- Experience creating backend tools or frameworks to test Rest APIs, microservices, and deployment methods.
- Knowledgeable in the CI/CD and Shift Left ideas.
- Skilled at developing distributed systems for performance and scale testing.
- Experience testing in a distributed microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with several caches, such as Aerospike, DynamoDB, and Elastic Search.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS.
- Following industry best practices in software development processes such as unit testing, OOPs, and code reviews.
- Proficient with Linux commands and shell scripting.
- The ability to create and publish proofs of concept (POCs).
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in CS, IT or any related field.
