Job Description:
BP is trying to become a net-zero firm by 2050 or sooner. To do this, they are concentrating on increasing corporate efficiency. They established a worldwide Business Services (GBS) centre in Pune, India, to improve BP’s worldwide business operations via the use of digital technologies. The GBS center, governed by BP’s values, manages data, procurement, finance, and customer service. Its purpose is to develop new digital solutions and flexible working practices to assist BP’s overall transformation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide BrowserStack clients with 24/7 assistance.
- Actively troubleshoot user test cases to guarantee compatibility with all browsers.
- Respond to BrowserStack product-related questions from customers in forums.
- Collaborate with the Engineering, Product Management, and Sales teams to quickly handle product issues and offer changes.
- Contribute to the public and internal knowledge bases to facilitate shared learning and issue solutions.
Skills Required:
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
- Strong customer interaction abilities, including managing varied consumer attitudes.
- Knowledge of or expertise with testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, and others.
- Practical experience with at least one programming language (Java, Node JS, Python, Ruby, etc.).
- Understanding of version control systems (git, github, and TFS).
- Basic understanding of APIs, bash, and cURL scripting.
- Knowledge of SQL queries (SELECT, JOIN).
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (http, ping, tracert, SSL, TCP/IP, firewalls, proxies, DNS, and so on).
- Basic comprehension of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and XML).
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities are required to handle a variety of consumer circumstances.
- Team player with an optimistic outlook.
- Any experience in Technical Support or Automation QA jobs is beneficial.
